Samsung Blackjack

Everyone that knows me knows that I love Microsoft, but I also love 3D computer graphics, and boy, is this one something to write home about!

The hands kinda remind me of an XBox360 game. I don’t quite know why, though…

Canada, here I come!

Well, that’s a massive weight off my shoulders.
Even though my boss couldn’t really have said no, seeing as I’m on a voluntary placement, I still had this feeling that he would say no.
But I’m free!

Canada, here I come.

Famous Connections

Look who I saw on the tube today!!
I’m partly annoyed because I’m a fan of both the shows that she’s been credited for, and I didn’t even say anything to her.
I could have had an interesting conversation with her.
I took one look at her and knew I knew her from somewhere.
The more I thought about it, the more I realised that it was on TV that I had seen her.
Couldn’t quite place it till about 5 minutes ago when I started going through all the comedy programmes on the BBC, and there she was, tell-tale scar on her cheek and all.

Well, Daisy Haggard has entered the collection of celebrities I have seen on my trips to London and back that include the likes of Steve Coogan and Noel Edmonds.

It’s a small world after all.

‘I want that one!’

So here I was, reading my feeds, as I do, and up pops the same story in about 3 of the feeds. It’s a story of a sports car, that does 0-60mph in less than 4 seconds, does a top speed of 130mph, and has a body designed by none other than Lotus.
‘Impressive,’ you might thing, ‘but it’s nothing I’ve not seen before’; and you’d be right. Except this car is something special, and instead of adding something to it that most cars don’t have, it’s taken something out that all other production vehicles rely on: the combustion engine.
Yes, that’s right; this is the world’s first fully electic production supercar.

Build by the Tesla Motor company, based in the tech-rich West Coast of America, in the heart of Silicon Valley, the company has already been able to produce a capital of $60 million, from backers from companies such as Paypal and Google, and with an ambition to change the way people think about electric cars forever.

I want one, I REALLY want one.
But for $80,000 (£43,000) it’s a bit pricey.
I’ll just have to wait for the saloon car that they’ll be releasing in 2008, then.

Best ads ever

Probably the best series of TV adverts I have ever seen.
Actually made me cry a bit…
